Calico Creations, LLC is an app development company based in Indianapolis, Indiana. This policy covers all apps published by Calico Creations, LLC on the Google Play Store, including Bitcoin Tracker.

What Data We Collect

Short answer: As little as possible.

Our apps are designed to function without collecting personal information. Here's the breakdown:

  • Personal Information: We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information through our apps.
  • Usage Data: We do not track how you use our apps. No analytics, no behavior tracking, no session recording.
  • Location Data: We do not access or collect your location.
  • Financial Data: If you make a purchase (such as a premium unlock), the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment information.

Third-Party Services

Our apps may connect to third-party services to provide core functionality:

  • Mempool.space: Used to fetch live Bitcoin price data. Mempool.space is an open-source project. Your device's IP address may be visible to their servers when fetching data. We encourage you to review Mempool.space's policies.
  • CoinDesk BPI: Used for historical Bitcoin price data. Similar considerations apply. See CoinDesk's privacy policy.
  • Google Play Billing: Handles in-app purchases. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

All app preferences (such as your chosen theme, price alert settings, and widget configuration) are stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit this information anywhere.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
